SiteInSight CEO Alice Foeller has been in the news recently for community service provided during these difficult times of uncertainty and quarantine. Here is a quick roundup:
Alice has loaned her RV to a local nurse, so she can quarantine from her family but still be close by her children and apartment. Alice was featured in the Columbus Dispatch and on WSYX news along with the nurse.
Alice also began writing positive posts each weekday on Facebook (and republished on LinkedIn). These essays, meant to spread calm and insight to her friends, have been shared widely. One she wrote on the generous cooperation she’s had with her ex-husband in co-parenting during the coronavirus was picked up by the Chicago Tribune’s OpEd page. You can read it here.
In May 2020, Alice was featured in the national magazine for alumni of Northwestern University for her work in the Northland community of Columbus, working with a team to lead Elevate Northland, a Community Development Corporation that is elevating locally-owned businesses (many of them New American-owned) and harnessing that energy to create new revenues that support other aspects of the community. The Northwestern Magazine article is here.
Alice has also graciously directed her staff to add Covid-19 information buttons to websites free of charge for her monthly customers, and has worked long hours to enable online payment for others.
SiteInSight and Alice have always been known for their commitment to building community and helping those who are doing good work “shine online.”
